My favorite character so far in romeo and juliet is benvolio. The reason that I like him in this book is because he is able to keep the piece and is very calm. He is a peace keeper. Which means that he is a very important character in this book because he is able to keep the peice between the two families. Which is probably getting worse since romeo killed tybalt and now is banished.
One reason for me liking benvolio as a character is because he keeps the peace, which makes him a very calm and non violent person. He is a person that might be somebody that is very close to romeo because he was there when mercutio died and he was also there when romeo killed tybalt. Tybalt was actually a powerful death because that is what bannished romeo from verona. Tyablt's death kind of started everything that happened to romeo. But I did see romeo killing tybalt coming.
Another reason for me liking benvolio is because he keeps peace between tybalt. But before tybalt died. romeo and benvolio have a very close relationship with eachother. But romeo also had a close relationship with mercutio. but then he was killed by tybalt. Which then made romeo kill tybalt because he wanted to avenge mercutio.
so I conclude that benvolio is a very interesting character. Also that he is a peacemaker and he is very calm and non violent. Which I think is a good thing.

I listened to his song on the radio called "when i was your man" by Bruno mars. The songwriter is Bruno mars. So he is a singer/ songwriter and he made this song about women and it was pretty terrible what happened to him. But this song is saying that he blames himself for why she left him. This song is about women.
The first thing that sticks out to me is the beginning of the song. which is saying that she had left already and she left him to be all alone. Also he says that the bed feels a little bit bigger which means that now she is gone and he has nothing. He hears things that reminding him of her, that is the meaning for the line that says that he hears their song on the radio. Her friends are trying to make him remember her and now he just trying to forget her. When her friend talk about her it just makes him remember all the things he should of did with her.
Another thing that sticks out to me is the chorus. the chorus is trying to say what he remembers about their relationship and he is telling all the things he did not do. One thing is flowers and then the other is hold her hand. the line where it says that he should have danced with her also has to with the fact that he did not do anything with her. Then it says that she is dancing with another man which means that she met somebody else.
The last thing that sticks out to me is the last part of the song. The last part is trying to say that he hopes that all the things he did wrong won't happen with this guy now. revised ice blog post
I have just read an article that has to do with global warming and how it is
effecting the Arctic ice. Which means global warming is starting to affect our
planet more. We need to take better care of the earth, if we want to be able to
live longer. the polar bears are starting to lose their homes and it is bad. We
need to be more careful.
The article shows that the Arctic ice is melting quicker then we thought. The Arctic ice is starting to melt half of the Arctic ice and the polar bears are the ones paying the price. Other animals that live in the Arctic are also paying the price because they are losing their homes which is bad because where will they live next. Polar bears are not the only animal that is going extinct. From 1979 to 2012 literally half of the arctic ice has melted. A NASA climate scientist named James Hanser reported that the Russian heat wave of 2010 and the Texas heat wave of 2011 would both have not happened if it was not for global warming going on. Other examples of extreme weather are a dried of up lake bed in San Angelo, Texas in august 2011 and flooding from hurricane sandy.
The article also shows that beneath the melting arctic ice there are mineral resources like oil, gas, gold, precious gems, and rare earth metals. Since information has been passed on throughout the world, there are other countries who are trying to exploit it. cellphones in the u.s are made of a rare earth metal only found under the arctic ice. Also people do not know who owns the arctic because 6 countries are in that territory. Also greenland is now becoming a hotspot with econmic activity the author says.
My opinion is that we need to start saving the earth. Which means that we need to start recycling, which is also something that people need to do more often. I think that the schools are doing a good job of trying to make kids recycle in the schools and it is great what they are doing with the different color bins. we need to do that in our homes. My home we have two bins for bottles and for garbage. Sometimes I think that people want this earth to die.
So I conclude that the arctic ice should be saved and we need to start taking care of the earth. Global warming is happening even faster and we are doing nothing to stop, but there are some people that are trying to save the earth. But there are people who do not do anything to save the earth and some people just do not care. Global warming is a big problem in the world but now it is starting to get worse. Global warming is starting to melt away a lot more ice which means that the polar bears will lose their homes. Somehow the world has been getting worse with the enviroment. Which is becoming more of a problem beacause we can eventually lose our lives if we don't have an earth. I think that people do not realoize how important the enviroment is to us. People need to be more careful with the earth.
I think that people should start to realize that if the earth dies, along with the enviroment, then we will all die. Which is a bad thing because we are talking about our lives. Our live are important to the young people and the people that have not even been born yet. If the world dies than we will have no future that is created for the young people. The people that have not even been born yet is our future and we need a future.

Darwen
Right now I am reading a book called the peregrine pact by Darwen Arkwright. So far the book is really good. The protagonist of the story is Darwen. The theme of the story is that you kind of need to find who you are. You need to become your own person.
The protagonist of the story is darwen and he is very important to this story. In the beginning of the book he was trying to find who he really was, but that was until he met mr pregrine. Mr pregrine is also very important because he is the one that gives Darwen the magic mirror. Darwen needed to realize who he was because he is coming to a new place and he is meeting new people and he does not know who he is in Atlanta. He needed to figure out who he was, but when mr pregrine came into the picture and gave him the magic mirror, all of that changed.
The theme of the story is that people need to find out who they are, but they need to find their own way of being themselves. What darwen did was that he got help to find himself by dicovering himself in the world in the mirror. Darwen dicovered something that could only be found in fantasy books whih is a fantasy world. Darwen was a very important protagonist to people.
Right now i am almost done with the book and it has been really good. I think that people should read this and imagine it in their minds. but the protaonist showed that people need to go on their own path to find themselves. I think some people need to do that too. Some people like myself, which means that i need to find my own way. Other people need to dot that.

The Lorax
The lorax is a book about how we need to protect our environment because we will end up with no trees and we will lose oxygen. The story was about how all the trees were destroyed by a man that was greedy and wanted money. But he wasted all the trees on some type of sweater that was making a lot of money. But the problem was that he wasted all of the trees and they had no more trees left. What I want to know is that why did'nt the greedy man listen.
There was a big message in this book because this book was all about how we need to protect our envirnment and our trees. The question that I have with the message is why would a person even waste all the trees and not hear the warning of the lorax? the lorax was a very important chacter to the message because he was the one that was trying to teach the man, the message. That greedy man was also another message because he was blinded by being greedy that he did not see that what he was doing was destroying the earth and all the animals on it. It was also hurting the lorax that all of his friends had to go because all the trees were gone and eventually he had to leave too.
The protagonist of the story is the boy that asked the greedy man what happened to all the trees and where is the lorax? The young boy at the end got a seed that would be able to grow another tree. He knew that the only person that could make the trees live on was a young child. But one thing that I have to say about that is that the man was smart because if you give it a adult they will just plant it and cut it down. But if a child had it he can care for the trees.
My opinion about this book is that it is perfect for children. The reason for that is that you can teach young kids about the environment. So they are able to be the generation that protects the earth. We need to protect our earth or we will end up like the Lorax.
So I conclude that the Lorax is a very important book. We need books like tha so we can teach the next generation about reduce, reuse and recycle. The next generation needs to know.

water
Right now I am still reading "the water wars". Right now I am up to the part where the main character Kai has just figured out that Ulysses is hurt and he has been keeping it from it. The protagonist of the story is Kai because he is the main person that connects everything together. Me and Kai are kind of the same in some ways. But not everything about both can be connected.

What I do not understand that how did the people that need to kill him find out that he knew the secret? If I knew that secret I would just keep my mouth shut, but when they start hunting me I would just leave because I want to live.
One way that me and the main character have is that we both keep secrets. Everybody has secrets but some people really are not trust worthy. Some people will spread your secrets like wild fire. Another way me and the main character is that we both are able to think before we do. He is able to go by himself on a journey that might even get himself killed.
