Darwen

Right now I am reading a book called the peregrine pact by Darwen Arkwright. So far the book is really good. The protagonist of the story is Darwen. The theme of the story is that you kind of need to find who you are. You need to become your own person.

The protagonist of the story is darwen and he is very important to this story. In the beginning of the book he was trying to find who he really was, but that was until he met mr pregrine. Mr pregrine is also very important because he is the one that gives Darwen the magic mirror. Darwen needed to realize who he was because he is coming to a new place and he is meeting new people and he does not know who he is in Atlanta. He needed to figure out who he was, but when mr pregrine came into the picture and gave him the magic mirror, all of that changed.

The theme of the story is that people need to find out who they are, but they need to find their own way of being themselves. What darwen did was that he got help to find himself by dicovering himself in the world in the mirror. Darwen dicovered something that could only be found in fantasy books whih is a fantasy world. Darwen was a very important protagonist to people.

Right now i am almost done with the book and it has been really good. I think that people should read this and imagine it in their minds. but the protaonist showed that people need to go on their own path to find themselves. I think some people need to do that too. Some people like myself, which means that i need to find my own way. Other people need to dot that.

The Lorax

The lorax is a book about how we need to protect our environment because we will end up with no trees and we will lose oxygen. The story was about how all the trees were destroyed by a man that was greedy and wanted money. But he wasted all the trees on some type of sweater that was making a lot of money. But the problem was that he wasted all of the trees and they had no more trees left. What I want to know is that why did'nt the greedy man listen.

There was a big message in this book because this book was all about how we need to protect our envirnment and our trees. The question that I have with the message is why would a person even waste all the trees and not hear the warning of the lorax? the lorax was a very important chacter to the message because he was the one that was trying to teach the man, the message. That greedy man was also another message because he was blinded by being greedy that he did not see that what he was doing was destroying the earth and all the animals on it. It was also hurting the lorax that all of his friends had to go because all the trees were gone and eventually he had to leave too.

The protagonist of the story is the boy that asked the greedy man what happened to all the trees and where is the lorax? The young boy at the end got a seed that would be able to grow another tree. He knew that the only person that could make the trees live on was a young child. But one thing that I have to say about that is that the man was smart because if you give it a adult they will just plant it and cut it down. But if a child had it he can care for the trees.

My opinion about this book is that it is perfect for children. The reason for that is that you can teach young kids about the environment. So they are able to be the generation that protects the earth. We need to protect our earth or we will end up like the Lorax.

So I conclude that the Lorax is a very important book. We need books like tha so we can teach the next generation about reduce, reuse and recycle. The next generation needs to know.

water

Right now I am still reading  "the water wars". Right now I am up to the part where the main character Kai has just figured out that Ulysses is hurt and he has been keeping it from it. The protagonist of the story is Kai because he is the main person that connects everything together. Me and Kai are kind of the same in some ways. But not everything about both can be connected.

The protagonist of the story is very important because the protagonist of the story connects everything, in this case it is Kai. In this story Kai is the most important thing in this boo because he knows a secret that would him and anybody he told the secret to, killed. What I do not understand that how did the people that need to kill him find out that he knew the secret? If I knew that secret I would just keep my mouth shut, but when they start hunting me I would just leave because I want to live.

One way that me and the main character have is that we both keep secrets. Everybody has secrets but some people really are not trust worthy. Some people will spread your secrets like wild fire. Another way me and the main character is that we both are able to think before we do. He is able to go by himself on a journey that might even get himself killed.

Right now I think that this book is great because the way the main character Kai is able to show that he is able to survive on this long and hard journey. Some people have the same problem but some peope have a problem internally. Some people need to have a journey like that in there mind because some people just need to learn how to express their feelings.

Water

Right now I am reading a book called "The Water Wars" which so far is pretty good. Right now the protagonist is a Boy named Kai and he lives in world full of war. What the book talks about is how the world has gone through so much war that the world has suffered a drought that made the world lose all of its water. Also another thing is that clean water is really important. They say that if you have clean water then you are considered rich, which is this case is worth more then all the gold in the world.

The protagonist Kai knows a secret that could get him killed by people in the government, so when he first found out this secret he left his home so he could be safe. Another thing is that this war thing destroyed the whole world which means that this thing had to be really serious. What question I have is who was fighting in the war? Was it like one of those wars that the whole world just fights eachother? One problem with that is the people on earth may all be dead because if this war is bad enough that there is a drought in the world then that means that this war had to be for some big reason. But another thing I am wondering about this book is how did having a war end up to having a drought because both of them have nothing to do with eachother. But this secret that hehas is maybe the secret to how all of this started, which is very important to this book.

Right now in his journey he is with his friend Will which is helping him to be safe. Also right now, he just meets a man named after a god, his name is Ulysses. Ulysses is part of a group of survivors, that survived the war and are taking refuge. Which means that these people lost their homes to the war, which also means that these people must have been soldiers that no where else to go after they left the war to go on with there lives.

Preventing the maze

In the book "the maze runner" by James dashner there  are a lot of different things that happen throughout the book. Which I think is pretty cool but the protagonist is being prevented somehow because I think that the problem with that is the trust that he has with the people around him. I dont know but another thing the conflict is not really internal. Its more of an external because he is in a maze with monsters.He is not trying to fight his emotions, he is trying to fight everything else. I mean if I was in a maze trying to kill me I would not try to fight what I feel inside.

In the maze runner he is trying to fight all of these things around, evil and just weird looking things but the protagonist is very important. The protagonist and the resolution have to connect, but in this book they don't really connect that early because there is a problem which is that he does not reallly trust the people around him. If I was thomas I would have the same problem because I do not know these people very well what happens if they are just a crazy nut case that will kill me. Another thing is that what happens if the people that you trust for the entire time that you are trying to get out of this place, but when you get out they kill you for some odd reason. But I don't know what happens if we become like best friends or something and everybody is dead. Then we would be the only ones left fighting for our lives. Who would know if we even live throughout the maze.

Another thing about the book is that the conflict really is not internally because look around thomas, he is in a deadly maze fighting for his life. If that were me I would not be trying to hide my feelings I would be trying to figure out a way to get out of this maze. Another thing I would be thinking about is how did I get there in the first place and are myparents alive or even looking for me. Why would I be trying to hide my feelings. One thing that I would try to do is figure where all of these people around me came from and try to form a team, so we can atleast try to get out of the maze. One other thing I want to know is where are his parents were they kidnapped or something because we have not heard from them yet at all.

Right now the question that I only have is where are his parents? another thing why him, is there a reason why he was ppicked because I would not want to get picked for something that is as scary as this. Why is this even happening because I think that this cruel because why would kids even be in this. I think if anybody is going to be in it, it would atleast be a adult that was able to handle this pressure that thomas has.

In conclusion I think that the protagonist nd the resolution are not yet connected. Also thomas needs to connect with other people. Why is this happening and what will stop this. If you like this blog then comment, but if you dont know what im saying then read the maze runner.

the theme of the maze

In the book Maze runner by james dashner the theme was kind of hard to find. At first i thought that the theme was to always stick by your friend in battle. But i was wrong, the theme of the story is hat you need to make friends with the people and around you and make sure they like youi back or they may turn on you. But there is something I would change in the book and that would be knid of the climax. I chose the climax because it kind of takes a long time for him to figure out that he needs friends. Right now I am up to the 3rd part of the book which is near the end. But I have absorbed the climax already.

The theme of the story is that you need to make friend so you are able to kill the enemies. What I have heard so far in the book is that you will need a lot of friends in order to beat up all of the eneimes, even the weird looking ones. But if were the main character thomas I would try to find other people right away because I do not know anything about this place what if it is dangerous or not. Another thing I might ask would be where this place is and get more infomation on this place like what kinds of things are in this place or what will happen if I get out of this maze. Another thing I forgot to mention is that what happens if you encounter one of these enemies. What a person needs is advice from people who have been there a long time.

Something I would change in the story is where the climax should be because the climax was kind of late in the book for him. I think that he needed to realize what the theme or his problem sooner because when you read the book and get to the middle of the book you can practically tell what the theme of the story is. Even I had figured out what the theme of the story was by the time thomas was hiding from a terrible monster. At that point I realized that he needed some bakup if he wanted to make it out of the maze with all of his limbs and still be alive.

One that I think aoutthe book so far is that is interresting. But sometimes it has its moments when the book dives down and shows no action at all. Another thing about this book is that I want to hear from thomas's parents because I want to know what happened. Did they sell him to make some money for the rest of his family or was he kdnapped or he could have actually volunteered and he may not even remember what he did? Another thing I want to know is does anybody even kniow that he is gone and are his parents even looking for him or they justr wanted to get rid of him.

In conclusion to my maze runner responce I just want to say that we need to hear from thomas's parents and we need tio know what had happened before the maze. If I can change one thing in the book it would be that and that the climax should be sooner in the book. We should know the climax when thomas knows how to fix his problem not before that.

thomas's change

In the "maze runner" by james dashner the protagonist of the story is internal to the main character thomas. He changes internally. Even though i'm up to the middle of the book I can see the change that is happening to thomas. I can also relate to thomas because we both think why are we here, what is our is purpose. the protagonist can relate to me beacause of what we both think. he changes what he thinks of himself throughout the book.

The protagonist of the story is that he changes internally throughout in the book. What he changes is that he thinks about why is he in this maze, is there a purpose for me. What he thinks is normal for anybody because sometimes people may think what are they doing and what is their purpose in life and another thing is what will this all lead up to. Sometimes people may think what is the purpose of but what I would say is that we all have some kind of purpose it is whether is saving lifes in a hospital or protecting people as cop. Another thing is that  he thinks about does his parents beacuse he wonders if they miss him or don't. I wonder about that because they only mention them in the book but never introduce them into the maze or the book. But i think that they need to introduce them or hear about how they feel about thomas.

I can relate to thomas because I to think that what is our purpose. Why does anything matter in life and what will we do in the future. Also what happens if we don't do what we want and our life would just be meaning less. What happens if we do not do what we want to do in life, what would happen to the way we feel about ourselves. Another thing that kind of relates us is what other people think of us, do they hate us? That is why we can relate and i think other people think the same way.

I think so far in the book is that the protagonist and the relating between us was kind of easy to spot because it shows what he thinks about right near the climax. Another  thing is that the relationship between me and the main character can be for anybody because I think eveyrbody thinks about what they were put on this earth for. Also they can think why am I here in this certain place like a hospital or something. Another thing I think is that we all need to find that out for ourselves which is find our own purpose. Another thing I think is that the revolution of the story is that he is going to reunite with his parents and they are going to not care because they probably never knew he was gone or they put him in the maze themselves. Who would not know where theresun is and not try somewhere dangerous to look for him.

In conclusion I think that the protagonist fo the story is easy to find and we can relate. Another thing I think about is if his parents were killed while he was in the maze. What will happen to him if that happens, will he come after the people who did that. the maze may the purpose of his life. Willhe stay there forever. All i can do is read on.

Am I blue

                    In the story "am i blue" by Bruce coviolle it was kind of to find the theme. You really had to think in order to find it. The protagonist of the story was that he had changed his thoughts throughout the book. He also was bullied throughout the story. But then he started to see things in dark blue all around him, he even saw people that were blue. But he needed to expect who he was. Also what happened was that he just saw blue he did not mean that everybody around him was gay.
                
                   The theme of the story was that he needed to overcome his fears of being himself. He did overcome it, but that was after he started to agree with himself. then everything changed after he started to see every thing in blue, which does not mean that everybody was like him. That is why he overcame it, because he was able to become himself. A thing that sometimes people can not do because people want to show that they are amazing but in some way everybody has a flaw. They try to hide who they really are but sometimes it comes out. The connection between the story and real life is people sometimes like to hide who they really are but it is hard to hide they way you feel. Also people like to find out secrets about other people but they know that they themselves have flaws.
               
                   The protagonist of the story was that he changed throughout the book but mentally like his thoughts. The way he changed was mentally because he changed the way he felt about himself, which who he is. The theme and the protagonist are connected in a way because they both kind of talk about him changing mentally. He did not change physically beacuase he still got bullied in school. they still called him gay. But he changedright after he started to see evry thing in blue.

                  I conclude that the theme of the story is very important. Also the protagonist is also very important too because it shows that he had changed during the book. He became for self confident about himself after he found out he can see stuff in blue. vince overcame everything so he can be more self liking.  

                  

reading responce

                      In the drummer boy of shiloh the conflict was kind of an internal conflict. But in the end he overcame his fear because of the speech that the general had gave him. The theme of the story is very inspiring. Ray Bradbury did a great job with the conflict and creating an inspiring theme. The theme is that you need to overcome your fears in life. But something to me should have changed in the story. The one thing i would change is the very end.

                     One thing that I would change in the drummer boy of shiloh would be the very end becasue that should have been inspiring too. If i were to rewrite the very end i make it into something that would connect with the outside world like the wars now or to connect with the speech the general gave in the story. They can also write it into the way the soldiers in the army feel before they go to war. Also they can show how people outside of the story that are not soldiers who would feel if they were in this situation. I would change it because it should reflect on life and how people feel about the situation.

                     The theme is very inspiring. The theme is that you should overcome your fears in a life crisis. His fear was that he was scared beacuse he was about to go onto the battlefield where he can get hurt or even killed. But he did overcome his fears in the end of the book after the generals speech. That was the bravest thing he did in the story.

                     The conclusion is that the theme is very important to a story. Its very important to the story even the drummer boy of shiloh. Also i would change something in the book which is the very end of the book. So iconclude that iwould change something in the book and that the theme is very important to a book.

the conflict and theme

           Im reading the book called the rules of survival.Right now i think that the conflict is the abusive mother. But also another thing is that she is really wild and reading tells me that she is kind unstable and wild. But she does act good when she is not angry and making people beat up murdoch for her. One thing that is going on now is that she is dating this guy, but it is not like she is dating him its like she is tricking him. She is tricking so he can beat up murdoch because he is her ex-boyfriend.

          the theme of the book is kind of that you should not beat your child. Another thing is that you should not hold a grudge on people or hire people to beat up other people. Also the theme is very important to the world beacause you should not beat your child.
         
           The lesson to the world is that you should beat your child. Also you should not hold grudges.

summer

          One of the books that i read over the summer was the book called dragon champion by e.e.knight. The book was about a dragon named auron and he is a rare scaless grey dragon. Some of the problems he faces are like the phases of life for the dragons.also he meets friend s in his journey to growing up.
         One thing that happens in the book is that when hye firsts hatches from the egg he keeps his egg horn. The egg horn is a sharping from the egg that he hatches out of. Most dragons when they hatch do not keep the egg horn. But he was really smart to do that because if he ever comes into contact with a enemie he has a weapon to protect himself or others. Another thing he can use that egghorn for is that he can use it to hunt.lin the beginning of the book it says that his father was a hunter and so if he keeps the egg horn he can follow in his dads footsteps and become a hunter. Also he can use that egg to attract a mate.
         Another thing that happens in the books is that he encouters allies on his journey. That is another smart that thing that auron does because it is another way to hunt in numbers and if he encounters a enemy then he has friends to back him up.another thing he can use those friends for is their talents. like he can use them to build things like weapons and shelter and he can also use their strengths to fight. If he uses the friends for good then he wont become what he hates, if he uses them for good them he will become what he wants to be. But a bad thing about having allie is that they might turn on  you in the future because they tricked you.
         In conclusion auron is smart. Whether he is making frined or keeping his egg horn he can use these things as tools and these are tools that can give you an advantage. Another thing is that he is brave to not get judged because he kept his egg horn. So i conclude that auron is smart and brave.
